2010 Hat Incentive Program
Yawgoog Scout Reservation presents the 2010 Incentive Hat. We are celebrating Yawgoog’s 95th Season with a 6-panel premium soft cotton twill cap. The cap boasts a pre-curved extended visor, deluxe 4-row stitch sweatband, a hidden brass buckle rivet and comes complete with a belting leather strap. The low profile khaki green cap will be embroidered on the front. Your Scouts will wear this cap long after camp is over and the cap surely will be a collector's item for future generations. Almost 8000 hats were sold or given out last year at Yawgoog.
Your Troop can hike, earn merit badges, camp, and have fun at Yawgoog this summer, wearing this quality cap with pride. All you have to do is submit to Yawgoog Scout Reservation a $ 25.00 deposit for each scout that will be camping at Yawgoog this summer. The deadline is April 20, 2010. Each Troop that takes advantage of this fantastic offer will receive two extra caps for their adult leaders. A troop roster is not necessary to take advantage of this offer. Troops that take advantage of this offer will have until May 20th to add new Webelos that will cross over.
That is not all. We will offer to any Troop that wants to personalize their Yawgoog 2010 cap an extra special offer. We will have embroidered on the back of the cap one line up to 9 letters for $ 3.50 per cap or two lines up to 9 letters per line for $4.50 per cap. What you want on the back of the cap is up to you. All of your Troop caps will read the same. Don't wait; the deadline for this limited offer is April 20, 2010. All payments for extra embroidery must be made by this date. Hats will be available when you check in on Sunday. The $25 deposit per Scout is non-refundable. Make sure that you do not deposit more Scouts than you will bring to camp. General rules to keep in mind concerning the Hat incentive program:
- The incentive payment is due April 20th 2010
- Webelos crossing over can be added up to June 5th, 2010 only if your Troop has already signed up.
- If you order embroidery on the back of your hat you must include payment for the two free leaders’ hats and any extra hats that you may have ordered.
- If you order embroidery, all of your Troop’s hats will read the same.
- The Site deposit payment ($250.00 last summer) and the Site Reservation fee ($500.00 on March 1) do not count towards the hat incentive payment..
6. Hats will be distributed at Sunday check-in.
7. You can bring more Scouts to camp than are involved in the incentive program.
